Eventually you learn your first form and all these separate pieces are then woven into a seamless fabric of movement like the chords in a \u00a0piece of music.\u00a0 Ideally there should be no tears or rents, just a gentle flow of energy backed by intention and much practice .\u00a0 Practice is the key.\u00a0 A student once said that she had heard from a teacher, \"Each day you practice Tai Chi you lay down one piece of rice paper.
